Help & Support

Last updated: September 17, 2026

This page explains how to get help with SourceBoard.

1. What support can help with

Support may assist with:

  • sign-in problems;
  • account verification;
  • account recovery;
  • profile settings;
  • content visibility;
  • Store or points issues;
  • missing entitlements;
  • source-resolution questions;
  • moderation notices;
  • reporting abuse;
  • data export or deletion requests;
  • copyright or attribution concerns;
  • security reports; and
  • technical problems affecting normal use.

2. Before contacting support

Where practical, include:

  • the affected username;
  • the page or feature;
  • the relevant public URL;
  • the approximate time of the problem;
  • what you expected to happen;
  • what actually happened;
  • screenshots where useful; and
  • any visible error message.

Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, private keys, or full payment credentials.

3. Account access issues

If you cannot sign in:

  1. verify that you are using the same sign-in method originally associated with the account;
  2. use the current recovery flow;
  3. check whether email verification is required;
  4. retry from the current SourceBoard page rather than an old or expired link; and
  5. contact support if the issue continues.

4. Source disputes

If you believe an Accepted Source or Verified Source is wrong, provide evidence rather than only stating disagreement.

Useful evidence may include:

  • an earlier source;
  • creator confirmation;
  • archived material;
  • publication history;
  • corrected attribution; or
  • proof that the current source is a repost.

5. Moderation questions

If content or an account was moderated, use the appeal or review path shown by SourceBoard where available.

Provide the specific decision and any new context or evidence.

6. Points or Store problems

For point or Store issues, include:

  • the affected action;
  • the item or reward;
  • the approximate time;
  • whether the content was later deleted;
  • whether the action was repeated; and
  • any visible transaction or error information.

7. Privacy requests

Privacy, export, correction, or deletion requests should be made through SourceBoard's official privacy or account channels.

SourceBoard may need to verify account control.

For copyright complaints or attribution disputes, use the process described in Copyright & Attribution.

9. Security reports

Security vulnerabilities should be reported privately through the official security channel.

Do not post exploit details publicly when doing so would increase risk.

10. Response expectations

SourceBoard may prioritize support based on:

  • account security;
  • safety;
  • active abuse;
  • privacy exposure;
  • severity;
  • number of affected users; and
  • service impact.

A support request does not guarantee a specific resolution.

11. Official channels

Use only support, legal, privacy, copyright, security, or report channels published by SourceBoard.

Messages sent to unrelated community users or unofficial accounts are not guaranteed to reach SourceBoard.
